Combat Vets/Fallen Heroes/First Responers Annual Fly Fishing Event

Approximately 10-12 participants met in Alarka, NC at the Smokey Mountain Campground. All volunteers were invited to a meetup/get together Friday night. 

On Saturday morning, Unaka TU Chapter #201 volunteers and all participants met at 7AM at Wishon’s Fishing Hole…US 64E/US74E, turn right on Wayah Rd. (Look for the sign for the High School) After turning on Wayah Rd, Wishon’s Fishing Hole is approximately .7 mi.  

5 Veteran groups particpated in the event...The Fallen Outdoors NC, North Carolina Veterans Outdoors, Battle Scared Outdoors, Veteran Creed Outdoors NC & Reel 22.  It was an epic event for all!!!

**The annual event is slated for the 3rd Saturday in May. Unaka TU #201 has graciously agreed to help/volunteer for the annual event.
